Hello Beautiful Souls,

I haven’t been as active on Medium — I’ve been working on a new YouTube Channel that I hope to empower you with.

I want to thank you for being part of the inspiration for the channel, and if there is any content you’d love to see — please let me know.

Thank you for following my writing — but I will be taking a break from Medium to focus on my channel — inspired by you.

I would love to stay connected with you — please add me on Linkedin so we can keep in touch!

Take a moment to chill,
a moment to be real.

Real deep in this mood,
of hip hop beats,
as you begin to fly through…

There’s nothing else here,
but this beat and you,
so lay back,
let’s ride,
through this dream come true…

Imagine yourself flying through clouds,
you don’t have to worry,
there ain’t no crowds…

fly baby,
go fast or go slow,
there’s no one here to judge,
you’re just here to accept,
all that makes you blessed.

Let go of the hurry,
let go of the worry…

Feel all that is tense, hold it for…

#5. You can either get stuck in your thoughts or dance to their rhythm.

The first time I tried to be alone — it was hell.

I mean, there was nothing or no one to distract me from my thoughts.

It wasn’t till years later — I realized that being alone — was one of the most empowering experiences I’ve ever had.

Here’s why:

#1. You learn to be authentic

When you’re outside around a crowd — it’s normal to want to fit in…

But you don’t have that pressure when you’re alone.

You can wake up, do whatever you want — without fearing judgment.

#8. Life is as hard or as fun as you let it be.

#1. Stress doesn’t solve problems — but it does push the mind and body to do powerful things.

#2. True perfection can’t be achieved — but doing your best without causing harm is achievable.

#3. No matter how similar someone is to you — there’s always something you can learn from them.

#4. Power isn’t achieved with control — it’s achieved with empathy and understanding.

#5. Love isn’t limited to human connection — it’s also a way of living and seeing the world.

#6. Someone’s ethnicity or religious background doesn’t define who they are as a person.

#7. No matter…

I hear your howls through the night…

Dear Lone Wolf,

I know that being alone can be empowering as hell — but other days it can be hell.

Maybe you’ve always been independent — or maybe you’ve always craved it.

I know that taking on your life alone — is never an easy thing to do.

I adore that you can think for yourself — and you’re brave enough to make decisions on your own.

I am inspired by the way you handle your emotions — without the help of others.

I love the way you guide — because you’ve been guiding yourself all along.

I want…

And how everything in life will happen when it’s meant to…

Okay, so, I haven’t completely let go of the need to control almost every situation in my life. BUT…I try it every once in a while — and the results shock me every time.

Throughout my life, I’ve always been a perfectionist and somewhat of a control freak.

Then one day, I came across “The law of attraction” — I thought: “Wow, I can finally take full control of my life”.

In case you’ve been living under a rock over the last few years, “The law of attraction” is the idea that every positive (or negative) thought we have, is…

#3. It’s not you, it’s them.

We’ve all met them. The haters, the energy vampires, the bullies…

I get it. I’ve dealt with all types of evil — and I am convinced I’ve met the devil himself — disguised as a human being.

So if you’re on the side that seeks peace, love, and kindness — here are 5 things to remember when dealing with toxic people:

#1. Seek to understand the person before making a judgment.

Okay, so there’s been a lot of times where I’ve misjudged someone…

…especially a stranger.

Either they had a bad day or I misunderstood them.

One time, when I was a newbie at my old workplace — I misunderstood…

#3. stimulate your senses

We’re all born with the ability to be creative — we just have to let it flow out of us…

I don’t think there’s a secret formula to writing poetry — and what works for me, may not work for you.

But after years of writing it — here’s what I’ve learned:

#1. Don’t overthink it — but dive deep

My poetry is influenced by deep emotions — yours may be different.

But whatever your vibe is — overthinking words you wanna use — may take away the beautiful flow of poetry.

Picture yourself on the reader’s end, or when listening to a song with lyrics…the best ones…
